We will be holding a Serenity by the Sea Costume Ball at the Town Hall Saturday night the 26th. 

 

 

Serenity by the Sea Provincetown celebrates another year of recovery, unity, and service for the LGBT community and all of our friends. We will again be enjoying the idyllic setting of Provincetown, Massachusetts as our backdrop for this amazing 5 days of meetings, workshops and activities. Provincetown offers a dynamic setting for our exciting, friendly, and diverse weekend full of recovery, growth and spirituality. Many folks come early and stay late. The strong recovery community has plenty of room for your experience, strength, and hope all week.

 

 

 

 

Wednesday night meet and greet at Bayside Betsy's-www.baysidebetsys.com 7-9pm. $25.00 including tax and tip.  The restaurant will be all ours, come and have a great dinner created for us and then hang out in the lounge and catch up with other fellows here for the week.

On Thusday registration opens from 4-6pm and get ready to be Rocketed into the 4th Dimension with the annual Are These Extravagent Promises open discussion meeting from 6-7pm at the Provincetown Inn.  Then head on over to Saki Restaurant-www.sakiptown.com/main.html for another incredible meet and greet.  The restaurant will be ours from 7-9, and again a special menu created just for us, and great lounge for catching up.  $30 includes tax, tip.

For the official kick-off on Friday, celebrate your progress with meetings and workshops all afternoon(starting at 10:30am, registration open 9-6), followed by a dynamic 3 speaker open meeting under the big top, with 1000 of your closest friends. Then to keep the energy flowing, head on over to the Friday night Cabaret and celebrate the talents that abound in us all, or become a participant and dare to celebrate your talents, and give them away on stage. If you have not discovered yours, you soon will, surrounded by your friends, and the many friends to be made.  Anyone can participate.

Start your Saturday off with an on-site Yoga class, a wonderful walk down the Historic Commercial Street, or across the Breakwater to the Long Point Lighthouse. Perhaps a 12 mile Bike Hike through the National Seashore, or the 3 mile Fun Run will keep your balance resonating. Meetings and workshops will continue throughout the entire day, again followed by a 3 speaker open meeting with the twinkling lights of Provincetown in the background.

As we are so close to Halloween, bring your costume and dress up for Saturday night meeting and then head on down to the Town Hall for a fantastic Serenity by the Sea Costume Ball/Dance!!!  Parade up and down Commercial St. in your costume, an amazing tradition of Provincetown! 

If "disco dancin aint your thang" head over to the UU Church for a night of Bingo and cash prizes.  From 9:30pm until 12am, for $25 you can play games all night long and enjoy free beverages to boot. Tickets only avaialable at the door.

For a most wonderful closing day, celebrate your gratitude with a open discussion meeting Sunday morning Gratitude Meeting under the Big Top while gazing across Cape Cod Bay and soaking in the serenity and fellowship.  Then for one last tasty evening of food n' fun join us at the Lobster Pot Rounddown dinner. $35.00 includes tax and tip.

Together with Al-Anon participation it has been the privilege of Serenity by the Sea to continue celebrating the recovery of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and friends of, community. Our purpose is to support individual recovery and maintain unity within the safety of our beautiful surroundings.
